About Me

Leanna Maltese is an Illustrator from Long Island, NY. She has a BFA in Illustration from The Fashion Institute of Technology.

She is inspired by nature, wildlife, and the bond shared between humans and animals.

In addition to being an illustrator she works as an Animal Care Specialist at Bideawee, a no-kill animal shelter. The dogs and cats she works with are a constant inspiration. She also paints custom handmade birdhouses for Francesco’s Birdhouses.
